Fort Myers Storm Damage Roof Repair: Local Crews, Documented Right

Wind-lift, missing tile or shingle, and tree-impact damage repaired by a Fort Myers crew that was here before Hurricane Ian and is still here now. We document your wind and hail loss the carrier will actually accept.

Factory-certified installer of the systems insurers recognize

Local, Before and After the Storm

Here before Ian, still here after

Fort Myers took a direct hit from Hurricane Ian, and the storm-chasers who flooded the area afterward are largely gone now. We are not one of them. We were repairing Fort Myers roofs before the storm, through it, and we are still here for the claim that gets reopened two years later.

Storm damage does not always show up the day the wind stops. Wind-lifted flashing or a hairline tile crack can sit quietly until the next rainy season finds the gap. There is a filing deadline on hurricane-related claims, and documenting early protects your position even if the full claim comes later.

Since Florida’s AOB ban (SB 2-A), you file and manage your own insurance claim, we cannot file it for you. What we do is document the damage and wind mitigation features completely, under your HO-3 wind and hail coverage, so the claim you file is accurate.

What We Handle Vs. What You Handle Body

Is It Time?

Signs your roof has storm damage worth documenting

If you are seeing any of these on your Fort Myers property, document it now.

Wind-lifted flashing or shingles after a storm

Easy to miss from the ground until it leaks.

Visible damage you have not yet reported

There is a filing deadline on hurricane-related claims

A hairline tile crack that appeared after high winds

Small now, larger once rainy season finds it.

A patch job done quickly after the last storm

Worth confirming it still holds and meets current code.

A denied or underpaid claim from a past storm

Fresh documentation can support a reopened claim.

Not sure if it is worth documenting? A free inspection gives you a straight answer.

What we actually do

What storm damage repair in Fort Myers actually involves

We start with a full inspection and photograph every area of damage, from missing shingles to displaced tile to compromised flashing. This documentation is built to hold up under carrier scrutiny, since we know what a Florida wind and hail claim needs to be approved cleanly.

If your roof needs emergency tarping before the full repair, we handle that first to stop water intrusion. Once your claim is approved, our own factory-certified crew completes the repair, never a subcontractor, using the documentation from the original inspection as the scope of work.

We provide the completed documentation directly to you for your claim, and can coordinate with your adjuster if a site visit is needed to confirm the scope matches what we recorded.

Every Storm Damage Visit Includes Body

What We Check

Three things a Fort Myers storm visit settles

Every storm damage inspection in Fort Myers is built to answer the three questions your carrier will ask.

What the storm actually damaged

Wind-lifted flashing and hairline tile cracks are easy to miss from the ground and easy to dispute later.

Whether it is worth a claim

An honest read on whether the damage clears your deductible before you file anything.

Documentation your carrier will accept

Photographed, dated, and organised so the claim does not stall on missing evidence.

Why Fort Myers Homeowners Choose Us

The "local, not a storm-chaser" difference

Storm-chasing crews follow the weather from state to state, here for a season and gone before a follow-up leak or a denied claim needs attention. We are based right here in Fort Myers year-round, licensed under CGC1533024 and CCC1334177, same crew every time.

Our documentation is built to hold up under scrutiny, since we know exactly what a carrier looks for in wind and hail claims. That thoroughness is the difference between a claim that gets approved cleanly and one that gets delayed.

Outstanding Quality Masonry and Pipe Jack Repair! Contacted Florida Roofing and Gutters to repair the Chimney Stucco and fix 4 pipe jacks that were compromised by squirrels. During heavy rains, I discovered water dripping from the light socket on the ceiling of my master bedroom walk-in closet. They provided a clear, line-item breakdown of the estimate so I knew exactly what I was paying for. I was extremely happy with the work Byron preformed. He did an absolute standout job repairing my chimney and pipe boots. Byron accurately diagnosed the source of the roof leak and provided a permanent, high-quality solution. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on proper repair needed. The masonry work on the chimney looks incredible and is structurally perfect (even matching the existing paint on the chimney). Furthermore, he did a flawless job installing the new pipe boot flashing, ensuring everything is completely watertight before the next heavy rain. Byron was prompt, professional, and kept the entire work area spotless from start to finish. I highly recommend Florida Roofing and Gutters for any chimney or roofing restoration needs!"
